I hope you had a wonderful break from school. Now we're back, and we've got a lot to do before our next break... which is SUMMER Break!
In case you have forgotten, you need to respond to all prompts with at LEAST one paragraph. You need to punctuate, use correct grammar and capitalize the words that are supposed to be capitalized! One of these prompts you need to write FIVE paragraphs about. You can choose which one, but one must be a 5 paragraphs!
1. Someone is thinking of moving to your town. Is your town appealing? Write persuading the person to move here or stay away.
2. A curfew is when some people (such as teenagers) must be off the streets by a certain time at night. Our county is thinking of imposing a year round 8 PM curfew for anyone under the age of 18. Do you agree or disagree?
3. Years ago, in some cities, there were separate public schools for boys and girls, especially at the high school level. Boys went to one school and girls went to an entirely different school nearby. Our school is considering this, your job is to convince school officials whether or not boys and girls should go to different schools.
4. If you were given the opportunity to spend two hours each week working on a community task of your choice, explain where you would volunteer and why, what you would accomplish, and how it would benefit your community.
